Mega Pan Oversized Panoramic Wall Art

Twenty two photographs made wider than the standard panoramic range. Mega Pan is for the wall that has nothing else on it and does not need anything else on it. These are the largest pieces in the catalogue and they are chosen for a specific wall rather than browsed casually.

5:1

Use these pieces where the print can breathe. The right wall turns the panorama into an architectural feature.

When a panoramic is not wide enough

There is a point where a long wall swallows even a large panoramic print and the room looks unfinished. Mega Pan exists for that wall. It is a small range because not every photograph carries the extra width; the subject has to hold up when there is that much of it.

What is in the range

Desert Island, WA and Sunset Discovery, Broome, WA are the western pieces. Full Moon, Nobbys Beach, NSW carries a night sky across the full width, and Island Paradise, QLD holds tropical colour at scale. Rainforest Refuge, Mossman, QLD and Glycosmis Falls are the green end of the range.

Measuring first

Measure the wall before choosing. Mega Pan pieces are bought to a wall, not to a mood, and returning one is a freight exercise rather than a repack.

Framing at this scale

Unframed is the usual recommendation at 40 inch and above, and most Mega Pan orders sit well beyond that. Unframed prints travel rolled with a cotton interleave in a cylinder.

Getting help with it

The gallery runs a Contact a Specialist service covering size, framing, hanging and lighting, which is worth using at this end of the range.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Mega Pan photographs are there?

Twenty two, against seven hundred and fifty six standard panoramic. It is deliberately a small range.

How large do they go?

The catalogue size ladder runs to 100 inch on the long edge. The sizes offered for each Mega Pan photograph are listed on its own print page.

Should I have one framed?

At this scale, usually not. Unframed is the recommendation at 40 inch and above, and it also makes delivery and handling considerably easier.

Can I get help choosing for a specific wall?

Yes. Contact a Specialist covers size, framing, hanging and lighting, and it is the sensible first step for a piece this size. Call 02 4367 6701 or free call 1800 807 737.
